Are you sure there isn't a lever to do it for you?
Failing that, do what I do with the Xantia when I take that. Stand it in front of a wall about 10 feet away. Switch on lights. Place fingers, hand etc in front of the light to block the assymetric dip, then stick black tape over the relevant bit, watching the beam pattern on the wall until satisfied.
The pattern you'll see at the start is:
\____ \____
The pattern you're aiming for is:
_____ _____
Alcazar

I had checked the manual, there is a "ride height" switch, but I guess the left hand legs would still be too high.

We have just come back from france in the missus`s skoda. All we did was buy a kit from halfrauds Just in case. And then tried not to drive around in the dark, which is easy in france as they are an hour ahead. And the only time we did get caught out we just used the ride height adjuster so that if was at it`s lowest setting. We didn`t get flashed once. But you couldn`t see anyfurther than 20 yds in front of the car. But I wouldn`t put those proper sticky things on as you`ll have a complete night mare trying to get all the gunk off once it`s been baked on by the headlights. Insulation tape would be best. And take a roll with you just in case it comes off.

The not driving at night thing could be tricky, ferry from Dover is 22.45
Should hit the autobahn when there is no traffic to do a vmax run, or two
May have to use the Force though, by the sounds of things.
