Question

I know it's probably been done to death, but is there any way of converting the fogs to come on with High Beam?

I'm in the process of changing the bulbs in the normal/side lights to decent ones and thought "what about the fogs?"

Any ideas??

Question

It can be done easily, but why do you want to light up the road 15 feet in front of you on main beam - at speed, the fogs are about as much use as a handbrake on a jellyfish.......

Good point Dave!!!!

I suppose I'm trying to get P1 driving lights on the cheap!!!!

Would changing the foglight bulbs and re-angling the lights make a difference?

This is all in the persuit of some light when driving at night, and of course, I don't want to use the fogs (a la Max Power)......

Or am I p1ssing in the wind?

Ta Dan

Scooby doo

Be careful - the wind is getting up

A fog lamp reflector is designed so it has a wide flat beam with very little vertical height, and little forward reach.

Changing bulbs make no difference - the pattern/reach is dictated by the reflector.

It just will not work as an effective drive lamp.

Fair play then - looks like I've got to find some P1 driving lights and get em colour coded.....

Thanks Dave

Merry Christmas!!!
