Two port boost solenoid removal on MY98 car...
Guys...
I have removed the 2 port boost control solenoid from the car and installed an Apexi AVC-R...
I am now getting a fault code 44 because of removing the two port solenoid. Does anyone know what size resistor I can use to fool the ECU into beliving the two port solenoid is still there (as I am now getting a fuel cut because of the fault warning). I have plugged the two port solenoid back in and this does cure the problem, but obviously it doesn't need to be there so I would like it gone.
Someone has meantioned a 10K ohm resistor would do it, but I just wanted to be sure as I don't want to damage anything etc...
Many thanks in advance...
