Default Airbag light - What size resistor

Hi guys.

Any one know how to get the airbag light off after removing WRX for STI trim, In the golf i used a resistor in the conection to trick it, was unsire what size to use wondered if any one from here has done this

dont know what resistor you need,but could you just measure resistence of the part you have removed i.e the airbag, and then get equivelent resitence resistor?

Remove the speedo clock & take out the air bag symbol bulb.

please please do not try to measure the resistance of the air bag as when using your meter it will send a current through the bag. (although small) it can set off the bag. i use a dummy resistor at work for checking the loom and i think its 4 ohms.
