What kind of driving lights are on the RB5?
I was looking through the Haynes "you & your" book on the Impreza Turbo, and it states that the RB5 is equipped with a driving light conversion from PIAA for the foglights.
I'm a bit disappointed with my current Hella 500 series foglights, and I was looking into something more OEM, or OEM approved. I'm having a bit of a time locating older style foglights, and I don't want to go for STi foglight covers until I get HID. I can get PIAA 40 Series drivinglights from work, which includes metal housings, 55w bulbs (but I think there's potential for 100w), as well as the covers. Are these similar to what is standard on the RB5? If not, could some one point me in the right direction to something similar?
I'm not going to mimick or replicate really, I just want something that is similar to what was offered from the factory. I appreciate any help you guys might be able to offer.

Thank you. Do you have any pics of the lights on the car? Would the original 40 series hold up to 100w bulbs?

ScoobyWorld are selling the PIAA 80 Pro XT kit for £240. I'm tempted!
Ive also seen a cheaper kit on Performance Subaru for £135. It uses Hella lamps and 55W bulbs, so it might not be hugely different to what you have already.
