Headlights
#1
Based on the recommendations of some of the people on this board I have invested in some Phillips vision plus headlamp bulbs and clear blue side lights. Unfortunately I can't fit them!
There isn't enough room between the back of the headlamp and the battery to get the old bulbs out. Am I being stupid and is this a lamp unit out job?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sidelight comes out from the front after releasing screw on top. Should be enough room behind headlight to get socket out unless 1. battery in wrong way or 2. Lorry batterry fitted!!

PS watch out you don't shear the bolt of air intake on off-side as I did - Doh!

Got an MY01 with Morettes fitted. Had trouble with one and had no problem getting bulb out although it's a tight squeeze.
If you have trouble I would suggest undoing headlight, rather than taking the battery out. It is only a matter of taking out three bolts and easing unit out enough to get the bulb out. You'll have to remove the radiator grill to get access to the bolts though, it's held on by six clips, four at the top and two at the bottom attached to the headlight surround
