I have a MY01 WRX and I waswondering about the 'AT OIL TEMP' light. I have never actually seen it on my dials before start up or when driving. Is this normal????

 

um, take foot off right pedal and let it cool down if it flags up cos measn you have heat issues. you never want it to light up tbh

 

It's for the Automatic Transmission oil temperature, so if you haven't got an automatic it's never going to light up

 

Nice one, that would probably explain why i have never seen it!
Just that the guy i brought it off (didn't seem to know too much about much!) said "if you see alight come up on the dash, just slow down and take it easy for a bit". Starting to wonder which light he may have been on about!
