electricracer, how did your car pass a SVA test? I'm going through the process of SVA'ing my import now and it won't pass an SVA test without the speedo correctly displaying speed in mph and a sticker on it to say what the units are (including when backlit, so no big MPH sticker over the kmh either).

I think a 95 WRX speedo is cable driven, therefore you need a mechanical speed convertor. You then will either need UK clocks, or new dials (search for Lockwood). The odometer will then increment in miles and it will be de-limited too.

Cars over 10 years old dont have to pass any SVA/E-SVA tests. If its old enough it only needs an MOT and the speedo isnt part of that.

Black 112MPH speedo dial. With this you wont need to fit any sort of converter/reduction gear to the speedometer drive.
