How do you take out the side lights bulbs.... I want to replace them with led cool blue ones.
My car is Impreza WRX 2006 model

If they are like 2003-05 models I here its best to remove the headlights. Someone will no doubt say you don't need to but thats what I've read on here before.

The manual for the MY 06 says; " turn the socket (A) and remove the bulb....

Weemac2000 the manual i have says "PARKING LIGHT: It may be difficult to replace the bulbs. Have your Subaru dealer replace if necessary.
Would you be kind enough to tell me exactly what it says, how to remove the parking (side) lights. My bulbs arrive tomorrow! but i need to know how to replace them . Looking at them they should twist or pull but they are very hard and dont want to damage anything.

i removed the intake pice, and cramed my hand behind the light and twisted off the bulb holder. its hard to get your hand in there, but i am sure you can do it.
I also replaced my lights with some LEDs, not blue, but white.
stock on the left, and LED on the right.
