central locking/stereo problem
Hi,
Car is a MY02 STI Type UK.
Usually most mornings, when I start the car, when the stereo is on, if I lock to doors then the stereo goes off for a second or two, then comes back on.
dodgy earth ?
Is it best to run the stereo straight from the battery (along with a fuse) but also have it ignition triggered. (I've heard this gives it a cleaner signal)
Also, a while ago I rigged up the waterspray part of the SECS unit. However, when the trigger level activated the SECS unit would reboot.
I spoke to PSI3 about it, and they said that the STi7's had bad earthing.
Consequently I ditched that idea and got another device to do the job.
Any ideas, tips etc ?
Thanks.
