Egg Look front lights
On the 2003 WRX the front lights have the EGG look in the middle, i want to replace these with silver vision bulbs so what bulb is it for the indecator (sp) in the front head light

Remind me if 03 is still the bug eye?
If it is then it uses the conventional pin type indicator blub, PY21W is Phillips silver vision code no. You need the one with in line pins as the original bulb is clear and the yellow comes from the plastic cover.
If it's the later shape (blob eye?) then it's got the wedge type bulbs, WY21W is Phillips silver vision code no I believe.

If you do detango, get the Phillips Silvervision bulbs and not Silvatec bulbs which are useless.

They are the same ones needed for the rears as well.
As mentioned above, you'll need to bake the entire headlamp in the oven.

Agree about some of the silver blubs being rubbish. I had "silver fusion" and they were dangerous really, almost invisible in even a little sunlight. The second lot I got were PIAA mirror orange and they're excellent.

Philips Silver Vision WY21W are what I put in & have had no probs.
