A mate of mine has a VW Passat. His battery kept going flat - took it to a VW dealer who prompltly changed the battery at £180.00!! despite being told that it is not the battery- it worked for a few days and is flat again. Are there any good auto electricians in New Maldon/SW London who he can take his car to and won't be ripped off? Jes

There is a good place in Grove Road Mitcham if thats any good to you. The fella is alright there and done me a few favours over the years. He will normally do a test (battery/alternator) while you wait for free.
Can't think of the name of it but if you interested PM me for directions if you don't know it.
