Default Quick reply needed.. Bugeye STI headlight question.. Please read

Did i read somewhere that on the bugeye STI headlamps there was a switch on the back that altered the beam pattern for driving in Europe?

If so could someone explain where and how.

Or am i talking **** and this was a dream?

Cheers

I have the same headlights and have had them out a few times, if there was a switch I'd be overjoyed as I drive on the other side quite often.

You can adjust them with a screw driver or just screw other drivers.

You can change the prodrive sti ones over. I found a thread of how to do it on the NASIOC site but havent tried doing mine yet. Mine were unfortunately left hand drive for some reason when I bought my car...so I need to get my changed over sharpish....

Can't be done I'm afraid Frayz, unless you want to permanently covert them. This would mean an oven job and some filing of the metal light deflector. It sits behind the projector itself.

I had to buy LH drive Morettes to get mine roadworthy for out here.

You could just adjust them so as not to blind oncoming drivers, but.....

Fek it your a tourist

Your car didn't once belong to a squaddie based in Germany did it.
