Default 2002 wrx Front lights seem misty but isn't internal ?!?!? help

Isn't glue to start with but seems internal and gives the top of the light a cloudy effect. Isn't mist can easily see that not sure on (A) what it is and (B) how to remove it.

Heard toothpaste can be good because it has such a fine grain to it and could polish it out ?!?!?! all ican see it doing is leaving a minty fresh smell and plaque free,

Any ideas

I had the same thing, a 'cloudiness' on the outside of the lens, which turned slightly yellow over time.

To resolve it (90% at least) just use standard T-Cut (not the coloured versions!) and it should sort it out.

There were a bunch of threads on NASIOC where they were using fine sandpaper, clear filler then a clear plastic sealant to fix it. Half the guys ended up ruining their headlights in the process so be warned!

I now re-use the T-Cut once a month or so, to keep the lenses clear, and follow up with a Cleaner Wax (I use Meguairs), but this is just because I have it handy!

Good Luck

Neil
