Default headlight question

I've just picked up a new MY06 impreza, which is my first Subaru. Just wondered if it was normal on impreza's for the headlights to go off when the engine is switcheded off, or is this because it's a euro import?

Cheers

I think its the norm for all impreza`s you should still have the side light switch to use.

Yep, its normal and a right pain.

I suppose it stops you leaving the lights on, but I am forever driving about in the morning with my lights on before I notice.

Anyone else do this ?, or am I the only one who is so sleepy in the morning I fail to notice the two yellow spots on the garage door .

Depends on which setting you leave the key at in the ignition

i like it

don't like the wiper speeds- off, once every 15 seconds (i.e. useless if its raining), continuous or full speed.
