Anyone fancy doing a comparison? Im in the London area and have a set of GE Megalight bulbs fitted and wouldnt mind finding out how well HID/Xenons do.

Question

I'd be very interested in a comparison with Xenons in Morettes, and H4's in Morettes, also GE Megalights.......

My bro in law's just had some Xenon main beams fitted to a Jag "X" Type, yet to see 'em. The old halogen main beam was v.poor

I have!

Well to be precise, I have HID dip beam only units in morettes.

Could be persuaded to meet up somewhere - spend most weekdays surrey/hants border, so some parts of London not too far...

Neil,
What do you think of them?
I keep thinking of going for the same (dip only) for my Morettes

Big improvement! I got the units from someone on here, fitted fairly easy, just needed to fiddle with wiring to sort out how to make sure they stay on with main as well as dip. What I really notice is the way that they pick out all of the extra detail - reflective signs look like they're backlit now! But also really helpful with 'things' at the side of the road (spend quite a bit of time on country lanes).

I figured that the dip only units would avoid the problems with 'moving' the light to get main as well, and as I have the spots in the morettes and have hellas (not HID or anything.....yet!) in the bumper as well, didn't have a shortage of light on main.

If you really want to have a look, you may not be too far away (give me something to do one evening) - let me know!

Neil.
