Default Car alarm going off for no reason

I had my car parked across the street (good thing i was near by) and for some reason the car alarm started going off for no reason. I've got a Clifford concept alarm fitted on my car and is setted to go off only if someone opens a door. Could it be that someone nearby happen to have the same clifford frequency as my unit?

CLIFFORD - says it all, I've had 2 cars with clifford alarms and had nothing but bother with them.

Got to go along with this, get rid of the clifford they are crap !!.
Had one fitted to an Escort Turbo some years ago, the bstards broke in through the back window, into the car nicked the spare wheel and stereo/cd's and the bloody thing was still armed when I got up the following morning !.
Last alarm I had to buy was a sigma and that performed no problem.

....and I thought Clifford was good! Then why to insurance companies recommend them?
The thing is I bought my Impreza with the alarm already fitted, so I can't take it back under warranty and I do not want to install something else because if I do I think I would have more of a mess of wires under the dash.

When you dis-arm the alarm it will give you the alarm sensor code (led flashes) that had triggered the alarm whilst armed. Match this code with either the instructions or a Clifford dealer for the problem.

May be a faulty door switch etc.
