Default Indicator problem

When I indicate right, the indicator on the dash is going twice as fast as normal and there is a clicking sound, problem is on and off, sometimes all the external indiactor lights are working and then just the back and side, checked for loose wires with the front but can't see anything, any ideas?

Indicators flashing too fast is indicative ( ) of one, or more bulbs gone/not working.

I'd be inclined to check each bulb, it's contacts, all connections etc including earth return paths.

Could be water has got in, corroded the contacts and is making it an intermittent fault.
