I have one fitted to a Subaru i recently bought and all been working fine.

Problem i'm experiencing now is that when it's been dis-armed and i try to start the engine.. it just keeps clicking - like a relay switch - and the interior lights flick on and off in sync with the clicking.. and nothing starts.

I haven't done anything different to what i normally do when i start the car and this is the first time it's happened. I drove 80 miles yesterday without a problem. I have no documentation and my search on the web hasn't returned many results.

I'm having to drive the wifeys Mk3 Golf.. so please help me get back on the road.

knackered alternator is the problem.. no problem with the alarm.. just jump started it.. not enough power left in battery to crank it over...
