Headlight Conversion for France
#2
Park the car facing a wall or garage door about a cars length from it. Put dip on (better at night obviously!).
You will see a pattern from each light which is basically light below a horizontal cut-off line about level with the lights. There's then a kick up from the centre and the cut-off line goes up at an angle to the left side. This is the bit designed to light up the kerb when you're driving on the left. You need to blank this off so you're left with a straight cut off all the way across.
Get a bit of black insulting tape about 2 inches long and move it round on the lens until it blanks out this rising off to the left bit. From memory the lenses invert the light so you're be sticking it to the left of the dip beam bulb but slightly above the centre of it. When it blanks it off stick it there. Job done.
