STI Bulbs

I just read somewhere that sti Type R's and RA Version 4's have high wattage headlamp bulbs as standard from the factory (possible wiring upgrade to handle this) My type R has 100/80's when I bought it but I dont know what it came from the factory with. Can anyone verify this?
