I have fitted a tow bar to my 00 estate. There is a socket behind the N/S rear light for connecting the trailer light socket electrics. The only problem is where to get a plug that fits it.
I've tried my local agent but he says it comes with a Subaru tow bar kit and isn't available seperately.
I can cut the socket off the loom and wire from first principals but a plug would be neater.
Anyone know where I can get one?

Try another dealer. The kit certainly IS available, mine was labelled "Legacy" and worked perfectly. It came from Chandlers, Lincoln.

Just been and looked in my garage, and for some reason, I kept the box it came in

Here's what it says on the box:

SUBARU
LEGACY SEDAN/STATION WAGON1989-
L1010AA012
SUB--001-EL1010AA012 40720L

I remember questioning my parts guy, who was excellent, now closed down, and he said it would fit, and it did!
