Morrett Type Headlights
I have found these that I really like....

Look OK if you like the Beemer look:
Perform about as well as OE stuff, only one bulb per duty, ie: outers do dip, inners do main, unlike Morettes which have outers doing dip AND main, and an extra pair of inners for extra main.
SOME of these I've heard have given wiring problems, even as far as melting the loom

Is that not because they put in higher wattage bulbs? or are the still melting looms at std wattage (55W)?

I think I've seen them advertised on ebay with Ring headlamps. Morettes use Cibie lights. Cibie have good optics, Ring don't. The Morettes on my car are excelent. I have compered Cibie and Ring driving lights before and won't buy Ring at all.
If you want them for looks though, thats a different matter.
