Halfords Rally Bulbs
Saw some of these today whilst out and wondered if anyone else has seen or tried them. 100w instead of the usual 55w. I think they do say 'for off-road use only' though!!

Halfords ones aren't bad: some are so badly made that they place the filament in the wrong place, so that light is scattered everywhere, result: less light than a standard bulb
They DO draw almost twice the current. It's a good idea to use relays to power them up, as they suffer from volts drop on standard wiring and can also melt standard wiring, if you are really unlucky.
One or two people have had issues with melting or burning of reflectors or plastic headlights with high powered bulbs.
Personally, I use Philips Vision plus 50% brighter, or my present favourites, GE megalights, 60% brighter, no relays needed, no issues with wiring, but dearer than 100W ones.
