Default Best place to buy wire???

I'm currently trying to build a brand new wiring loom for my 205 for its new programmable ECU, and I need some stranded 0.5-1.0mm2 wire.

Anyone know a decent place to buy some, tried Maplins website but couldnt fine anything.

The wire will run the entire ECU and sensor setup, including coils, injectos, TPS etc.

Just seen above - was about to post - I tend to use www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk - reasonable prices (I think) and fairly helpful if you ring them.

Like all cables carrying electrical current the size to use is dependant on how the cables are being used. For instance if you are making a large loom with the cables tightly wrapped together and then run through sleeving or conduit and then in a hot engine bay you would use a larger size than for a few wires in the interior. I'm sure Vehicle Wiring Products have some info ref this or could point you in the right direction ref any books that could help.
