Question Upgrade bulbs?

Do upgraded bulbs actually make a difference? If yes, anyone recommend a certain type? For a classic STi.

Been using 100/80 watt bulbs in my STi3 for the last 5 years and they make a big difference....they're not legal for road use but the Impreza reflectors are that bad that the 80 watt dip looks no brighter than modern lights. The 100 watt main beams are quite something though.... You can get them in Halfrauds for £9.99 each.

Thumbs up

See thread on here and response from Harvey. I'd agree with him, I use the same bulbs.

i've just fitted some Ring bulbs (60% brighter than standard?) - these are a vast improvement - £11.99 + £1.95 postage on ebay if you do a search

i got some of the blue "white light" bulbs a week ago for £3.99 + £5.99 postage on ebay - e to look at but not as bright as standard ones, 1 fogged up after 5 mins and blew the next day :-(
