Drivers window won't close properly with door shut...
I've got an irritating fault with the drivers window on a 1999 UK car. Need a little help please.
When the drivers window is opened, the front part of the window drops first. When it's going back up, if the door is closed at the time, the window won't close fully. It closes the window at an agle, leaving a cm gap at the rear.
If the window is closed with the door open, it still goes up at an angle, but corrects itself at the very top.
I've done a search on here, and sure enough, when I removed the door panel, I found the 4 bolts holding the electric window motor in place had worked themselves loose, but tightening them, and attempting change the alignment of the runners didn't help either.
Any ideas? - Is something worn out?
TIA

Yeah, sort of. If I push it backwards, (towards the rear of the door), the window straightens itself up, but it's only the front raising technically.
Does that make sense?

Had some problems with my MY00 drivers window , sort of jamming/clonking , check motor etc was fine, but found the rubber section "where mirror is" had torn and was folding up, this was causing the sticking etc so cut out the offending bits "not easy" as theres not much room, but it seems to have eased the problem.
