The Headlight Mod
The cheap morette look-alikes off ebay have failed.
We have seen cars with 'The Headlight Mod', where you paint part of the headlight black. How is this done? Does anyone know where we can find a guide?

If you look at the 3rd post on your link, the guy has provided another link where he explains how he did it.
Basically it's the old, headlights out and put them in the oven job, then paint the inside of the glass.

This is instructions for the 2004 headlights, but the process will be exactly the same.

I lost the will to live half way through that link but.... I de-tangoed mine the other week, used 100 deg for 10 mins, worked fine, may be a bit safer than the 250 deg for 20 mins used here (and easier to handle). Not sure about the indiactor mod, when I took the orange piece off and replaced with silvertec bulbs I thought the indicators looked less bright than before, maybe just the bulbs, but on this mod there seems to be no reflector at all, not sure it will be bright enough.. IMO...

250 degrees fahrenheit, about 100 degrees centigrade. .
I have lots of ideas running through my head. So painting it black isn't a good idea then. Just detango.

I find putting the oven on the VERY LOWEST Setting it can handle is the safest way... even then they were very hot to touch!
Ive done four sets now and all have gone smoothly.... I found a small portable fan heater to just blow warm air on things whilst working on them helps.... also make sure you have gloves and a very clean work area... dust and fingerprints are a no no
