Wiring up electrics for a towbar
Hi all
Just fitted a towbar on the Scooby and just need to wire up the electrics. I have found the little connector where you plug into the loom, but I can't seem to find any ware that sells the other connector. I don't really want to cut the one coming off the loom off (had to drill a hole in the boot and that was traumatic enough) . So does anyone know where you can buy one off those little blithers. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Tom

Any Scoob dealer will sell you a kit with the requisite connector ready wired to a length of 7 core cable, (or is it 8 core now?), the towbar socket and fittings., plus instructions.
When I put mine onto my '98 car I used the Subaru kit, not cheap, but dead easy!
BTW: why drill a hole? My wiring goes through a blind grommet just above the number plate lights, which I pierced.

Hi Alcazar
So they will sell me just the electric bit. I will give them a call later. Cheers
I have got a Crappy Witter towbar (but it does the job). It was a right Bit*h to fit, but its on now. I had to drill the hole because I needed to put a bolt through the box section where bumper mounts to. I wasn't to happy about doing it, but needs must.
