DEFI controller????
Just been fiting my defi controller today, looks like i've got it right but i have a question for anyone who's fitted one...
The white wire as stated in the book goes to the 12v, when as is says (small lamp is on) I take it this means its looking for 12v when the lights are on.. Done this but when the ignitions on the guages arn't lit... They only light when the lights are on... and the white got power...
Any ideas, am i being think>>>>? more than possible i was thinking of just wring the white to the switched live.. so there on when the cars running
Any help would be appreciacted..

Just to confirm...you have 4 wires...red, orange, black, white....
Red goes to permanent live
Orange goes to switched live (these two may be the other way round....can't remember)
Black is ground
White is lighting. You're connecting white to +12v (i.e. the red or orange wires) and everything is good. You disconnect it and it all goes dark.
Do you have the gauges plugged into output 1 or output 2 on the defi controller?
Defi BF gauges will ONLY work on output 2. That might help?

Red goes to permanent live Correct
Orange goes to switched live (these two may be the other way round....can't remember) Correct
Black is ground Correct

Sorted it team.. thanks for the help...
not bad for a Techie... I read the install book and found the BF's should go in line 2 not line 1 DOH! now i can turn the illumination up and down...
RTFM always work in the end...
typical tech support guy,,, asks everyone who call if they have RTM and did do it myself... Muppet!
got them running now... looks amazing and weel worth having just for the OIL pressure and temp...!
One other question... the boost guage seems to be a bit all over the place only peaking to 1.2 bar on gear change... full throttle at 4-50k prm and its pulling only .05 0.7 bar is this correct.?

Hooray, I had it right! I was starting to think I was a right idiot!
Glad you got it sorted.
Your boost pressures sound a bit off to me. You sure you don't have a vacuum leak?
