Default knock link wiring

how do i wire up a knock link sensor and where does it bolt to on the engine.

IIRC, there are four wires, live, (switched by ignition) earth, and two that go to the sensor.


My sensor, (well, the car's really, as I don't knock : ) is bolted to an M8 bolt on top of the rear n/s cylinder, just under the intercooler.

Pics on my website too.

two wires connect to the knocklink sensor, one connects to a good earth point and one switched ignition e.g. cigarette lighter feed.

If you dont like the knocklink box,
I can modify the leds to be on long leads enabling remote mouting of the leds.

Or for the same price I can put it in a seperate box with a proper connector and sheilded cable.
