anyone know if its possible to retrofit heaters to the mirrors. 2000 MY

I believe not "officially" as an Impreza option. But you can buy (and pay to colour code) the Forester heated mirrors from their "winter pack", available from any dealer for a small fortune, which I understand are interchangeable on the Impreza.

Jap models have them standard I think, and STis have electric folding ones so you don't whack 'em on the garage doorway!
