Question

Has anyone seen these in action?

Apparently Morette claims much better dipped beam performance but I don't know why.

Also are these projector lamps or reflector lamps?

Assuming your car is a WRX 01, then they use the latest Cibie projector lenses.

Very good performance... staggering if you go for an HID upgrade.

Wow the one and only Pete responding to my post! I am privileged, have one of your backboxes and love it!

Actually I have a GC8 old-style car (the CDM RS2.5) and have already purchased the Morettes with a Complex setup, they haven't arrived yet though. Just wondering what to expect?

Couldn't find any Complex info on any of the LHD French,Dutch,Swiss,German or Swede Impreza boards.

Complex would indicate that it is a clear lens with a reflector that does all the focus work.

Should look and perform very well.

Hi Pete,
I´ve got your b/b as well! And it´s a real treat for a troubled mind . Waiting for your d/p to arrive.
Sorry, lost the topic!
The Morette´s complex for the "old" car have no clear lenses. The improvement in dipped is achieved with a special grinding (?) of the lens. At least my Morette´s are like this (MY99)
Probably I´m wrong about this. Usually is! Anyway, they are a great buy!
BTW Pete could you get back to me regarding the d/p?. Got a Q for you.

Cheers / 22b
