jdm HID bulb type?
#2
Need more info to answer in a useful fashion.
Do you mean you want to change the conventional main beam bulbs on a car fitted as standard with HID dips?
Don't know enough about HID lamps on a JDM car to help without more info.

OK got you now.
Well you need a pair of 9005 bulbs to replace the main beam bulbs. They are at the top of the lens unit in the middle so fairly easy to get to without complete strip down. On the passenger side plenty of room (for smallish hands...) between the battery and the back of the light. On the drivers side it's lots easier if you take the intake plastic funnel off, undo two off 10mm bolts at the front then lift it up and it'll unclip from the trunking in the inner wing.
Then the same for both sides. First pull the wiring plug off by pressing in the little tag on one side then sliding it off downwards. Then remove the bulb by turning it approx 30 deg anti-clockwise and pulling it out of the back of the light. Refitting is the reverse of removal (always wanted to write that....).
