Question

My rear wiper (on 93 WRX 5-door) has started to play up. Sometimes works OK, sometimes refuses to start, sometimes just jumps a little then no more movement. When I operate the switch, I can hear a click from the back, so guess power getting there.
Before I start ripping things apart, anyone else had problems with this? Is there a relay or something back there - I guess that's what the click is?
Finally, any hints or tips when removing and/or stripping wiper motor?
Thanks in anticipation.
Neil.

what can happen is this the spindle can seize which then strips the teeth of the plastic gear inside the motor so new motor time. or there is a relay on the o/s/r suspension strut (just take the speaker cover off and it's bolted under a 10mm nut) that can play up i've just replaced one on a legacy turbo. or the wires in the gaiter on the right hand side when you lift the tailgate can break this also causesthe central locking on the tailgate not to work and the rear wiper not to park. hope this helps
