What's the Maximum wattage H4 bulb I can put in my WRX Headlights ?

I've been tidying out and found a pair of H4 100/80w bulbs that I used to have in my Discovvery. Will the heat off these be of any danger to my lights ?

Neil,

I've had the same wattage bulbs in my STI 5 for 2 years without any problem. In my previous UK MY98 I had 130/90 watt bulbs.

Been there done it.....I now use "Philips Vision plus" and then took the time to set lights up correctly.this gave me a much better beam. ( A big thanks to "TESCO'S" car park at 1.am !!!!)These are the best bulbs Iu have ever used.

I've currently got "Philips Vision plus" in my WRX which are fine, I might try the others to see what difference it makes.

I was about to put them in my girlfriends Renault Clio 1.2RN but thought they might melt the "ickle car".

Cheers

Try Revolution (0191 477 0785) that's where I got mine, you can buy the H4 headlight bulbs & matching side light bulbs in a kit for £24.

Whatever you use try adjusting the lights as well. I get at least another 15 -17 meters t. ExtraAnd they do not cause a problem for other drivers
