Question

OK - looking to get rid of the fogs for some sensible driving lamps. What are my choices? I know there are the usual Cibie / PIAA kits, but is there anything else available? I would prefer for the lamps not to stick out too far (hopefully a simialr profile to the existing fogs). I would do a search, but it seems to have disappeared again (did I miss something?).

Any comments welcome.

Cheers
Chris

The only lamp coversion I've seen that will have the same profile as the standard fog lamp is this Cibie kit from Scoobymania (

Chris
Got the PIAA's (Pro 80XT's if I remember)and they work well - Grahame Goode seem to be one of the cheapest.

Have used Cibies for years on other cars but they use H2 bulbs in the Scooby kits (PIAA use H3 which are ok) which are notorious for giving problems.

There are others available (Hella for example) but don't believe anyone makes a custom fitting kit for them.

Let me know if you go for the PIAA's and i'll give you some fitting tips if you want them, or mail me off BBS if you want more info anyway.

Cheers

Dave

Thanks guys. Pro 80s sound interesting.

Dave and others,
Just to let you know that as well as the CIBE kit we also sell a Hella Kit complete with mounting backets wiring and relays with 100w H3 bulbs.

Selling for £150 Irish Punts compared to over double that for the CIBE's. The lamps look very standard and are nearly as good as the opposition but for much less cost.
