Question

I have just today had a Morette quad light kit delivered.

I have noticed upon inspection of the kit that some parts of the outside frame (the part that you would have colour coded) have had a rectangle shape of the plastic cut away from the bottom underneath each lense leaving a rough edge is this normal?

In this 1st pic you can see a triangle shape has been removed form the top of the unit

In the 2nd pic you can see the rectangle cut out from the bottom under one of the lenses

In the 3rd pic you can see closer up how the part cut away has now lost the lip that should be present

In the 4th pic you can see it from another angle showing that maybe light might be visable from below the plastic housing

In the 5th pic another angle again

In the 6th pic more of the same visable

In the 7th pic the top of the unit close up

In the 8th pic again the lip being missing from underneath the lense

In the 9th pic showing the rectangle shape and a slight crack in the plastic

Both the O/side and N/side units have this part cut away

Thanks Ian

Some of the cutouts are to allow the H4 unit to move with the electronic adjusters, when you transfer the electrcal headlamp adjusters from you standard units.

Mine are exactly the same.

That explains it, as I have not got Electric adjusters.
Time to send them back thanks Andy
