Potential Indicator Probem?
#1
I have an MY99 with those stupid orangey/brown plastic inserts underneath the front indicators. At the weekend I removed them to spray them black (it looks a hell of a lot better now!).
Behind the driver's side one I found an electrical connector joining 2 wires, just dangling there, and apparently going to the indicator.
This means it's exposed to elements and almost certainly gets completely soaked when driving in heavy rain.
This reminded me of an article in Autocar which stated their test car had suffered an indicator failure.
I wonder if this is the problem?
Anyway, just to be safe I've now tucked the connector away into a "safer" place.
Just wondering if anybody else had noticed this on their car, and if anybody had suffered indicator failure?
