Cool

Gary,

Legally then can only come on when main beams are on.... you could add an on/off switch which will allow you to turn them on/off when the main beams are on?

Do you already have this seperate on/off switch ? Sometimes dealers dont bother and just wire them direct to the main beams.... or sometimes the dealers wire them into the old fog light circuit and use that switch.

Either way.. if you do have a switch for the driving lights and want them to come on seperately to the main beams (for what ever reason), the easiest way is to find the wire that comes from the PIAA relay and connects to the mainbeam, disconnect it from the main beam wire and simply connect it to a 12V switched feed...simple.. only one wire to move then.

Its normally connected down behind the passengers headlight (scotch-loc'ed in the wire, the top centre wire)

J.

ps - I dont like the idea of seperately switching the lamps, independant of the main beams...
