my cel light seems to be coming on randomly but usually a few minutes after start up. sometimes stays on for a while sometimes only about 10 seconds or so. Subaru checked after it happened once and said an old fault code to do with the knock link sensor was showing but that was all and they reset . since then its happened more often.

can someone tell me what a knock link sensor is and if its important plus cost to replace

is there cause for concern if the cel keeps coming on....car still drives o.k. .. no odd noises
