Was thinking of buying the Snooper S1 as the price is now down to around 75-80squid for my STI8. Local plod are having great fun with these mobile cameras and their black and yellow vans.
Does the STI8 bonnet scoop get in the way as I guess it just sits on the dash????????

 

You'll get more protection by putting a mars bar on the dash, don't do it, waste of money, buy a Bel 550 or Origin Blue, especially if you want to pick up Mobile cameras.

 

Just to add, my Bel 550 will pick up Gatso's and Mobile van's when it is laying in the footwell ! You don't have to worry about the vent.
