Buzzing noise - radio in Fiesta

as title, sorry its not a subaru, but thought this may be a general type problem:
every say 10 seconds the radio it interfered with a loud deep buzzing/humming noise.....any ideas?
i am hopefully going to check it in the morning as its doing my head in
any thoughts of what i should check first?

If this is still a problem, stick a post in the ICE forum mate - sure someone can advise. Strange that it's only every 10 seconds or so though - I don't know what it is!
