Yep it's H4 bulbs in Scoobs and it's very easy to change the bulbs.
Simply pull off the connectors, remove the rubber surround, unclip the retainer and remove the bulb. On the offside you have to remove the plastic air intake but thats only a bolt to remove.
Get yourself a set of PIAA bulbs, cost a bit but are worth it

I lost the dipped element on 1 of my headlights at the weekend. Its for an MY00. I was thinking of getting some of those blue tinge ones. Can someone post a link where I can get these. Anyone know how much as well? I believe the size is H4- is this right?
Also are they easy to fit?- don't want to get too wet

Is it the super white that are the blue tinge ones? Ie brighter for less power use. I thought it was Phillips that came out with them a few years back... I remember buying some for my bike...?

I've just bought 2 sets of THESE for my 00MY off ebay as they were going cheap. They cost nearer £9.50 per set once the postage and insurance (airmail from Canada) was added.
Arrived and fitted this morning. Just been for a drive along a dark road. Whilst they don't seem to provide more light, they are brighter than the old bulbs (if that makes sense), everything is better defined and the light is about as white as you can get (still have the standard sidelight bulbs whiich now look yellow. The difference in colour between the two when the lights are on is strangely cool ).
Have a look at the guy's ebay auctions. The sets I bought were unboxed and therefore a bit cheaper than the stuff he usually sells.
We'll see how long they last, but you cant go wrong at £19 for four bulbs.
Cheers
