Help With Classic Morrettes PLEASE!!
#1
Has anyone, that has fitted these in the past, from new, still got the wiring diagrams, or fitting instructions and a scanner to hand??
Strange question i know, but i have a major problem with the ones that were fitted to my MY97. For some unknown reason, and lengthy times stood round scratching our heads, we cannot seem to suss out the problem. That being that when the dip beam is on, all 4 lights are illuminated, then on main beam, just the 2 outer ones are on and the inners go off..
We have tried numerous ways of wiring, changing the relay, changing the connections and they are either on or off,
can soome one please help.??
Wiring diagram would be a great advantage.

OK:
Connections at relay SHOULD be:
Terminal 30: FROM battery or FROM fuse if relay doesn't have one on it.
Terminal 85: from headlight mainbeam.
Terminal 86: to a suitable earth point.
Terminal 87: to Morette inners.
The original connectors to your OE lights should be connected to the outers(main/dip).
It sounds as if you may be triggering the relay from headlight DIP, rather than main. Which means undoing the scotchlok and fastening it onto the correct wire behind the light.
