APEXi Super AFC wiring problem...Help!!!

I am trying to wire up a generation 1 S-AFC to my Classic Impreza turbo.MY2000
The instructions from the APEXi website only cater for ECUs with a pin configuration as follows:
26p-16p-12p-22p
My ECU has a pin config. as follows:
32p-32p-(blank socket)32p
Has anyone come across this before?
I can only assume that a type UK car has a different ECU to other scoobs..
Where can I find out which wires are the live, ground, rpm signal and airflow signal?
Any help much appreciated
