PIAA or Cibie Driving Lights???

Looking to upgrade the front foglights on MY98 5dr, these are the two that most people talk about, which is the favourite in terms of lighting benefits, and which fit the best as far as looks go.

The best are Scoobysport's HID's using Hella 1000FF units:
Aas far as the others are concerned they both have plus and minus points:
Cibie: pro: a bit cheaper, and good lights, with clear plastic covers available,(a MUST HAVE, not an option!)
con: Use H2 bulbs which are prone to contact overheating with high wattages. The contact then loses it's springiness, arcing occurs, and the bulb blows prematurely.
PIAA: Pro: good lights, can be run with high wattage safely,
con: a bit dearer, and no clear covers available, so OE Scoob fog covers have to be adapted.
There was a guy on here about 6 weeks ago selling a set of the HID ones, almost new, for half price.
I'd be inclined to see if he still has 'em..........

I got a pair of PIAA`s & love `em. I enquired about those HID`s a while back, but they`d been sold. Didn`t want to pay crazy prices for new, so asked for some in `Wanted` section, came up trumps! PIAA`s.
