Our Japanese-made 95 model LX Liberty (Oz'strine for Legacy) wagon came with the rear fogs fitted in the light cluster, complete with bulbs and wires, but no switch. I would like to make them work, but I have no idea how much of the system is there between the non-existent switch and the installed light. It would be good not having to tear down all the trim to trace the wires to the front. Some models obviously had the rear fogs, so there must be a way to retrofit to ours.

I would appreciate if anyone has some experience with this:

- is the wiring harness ready for the switch and the relay, including sockets already fitted, and if yes,

-what are the wire colours that will take these (my Haynes is totally useless in everything, including the wiring diagram),

- where should the relay go, and

- do I absolutely need a relay - I could use only one of the rear fogs to lighten the load.

Thanks,
George
