MY00, came back from some turbo work at the garage, with the interior light stuck on, and the door open indicator always on, on dashboard.

Had each of the door switches out and they appear to work as expected when checked with a miltimeter.

I'm guessing the garage left something off when they put the car back together, or one of the wires to the door switches has chaffed through and is earthing somewhere.

Is this a common/known fault - suggestions where I start looking?

What work did you have done, be sure that when doors and boot are shut that the lock closes completly. Easy to put a lock back on and not align correctly.

New turbo.

import, so Toad alarm - would there be anything on the alarm wiring?

Will check again, but as I said, had all the door switches off the car, and tested them, and refitted.

Probably something to do with the alarm as they would of had to tap in somewhere so it knows when a door is opened. I have a similar problem in that my door warning light is always lit dimly and thats something to do with the anti-hijack device Subaru Australia had fitted.

check the pinswitch on the bonnet to see if it has been broken, some alarm installers connect the doors boot and bonnet all together, bit naughty of them but check it anyway.
