Has anyone fitted these bulbs? Are they as good as the test in Auto Express?
Plenty of people using Philips Vision Plus which came second I know, just looking at upgrading my MY03 WRX bulbs.
Who sells the 9005 main beam bulbs in Silver Star?
Thanks,
Andy.

I've fitted these and find they are really good in the standard MY98 headlights.
I actually spent £75 on a pair of PIAA "Plasma" 7500K bulbs and they were IMHO cr*p!!!
The Silverstars are much better and have a really good spread of light where you need it.
I also fitted Osram +30% bulbs to the standard foglights and these also made a vast difference...Ok for me until I get my driving lights!!
Get some....you know you want to.

I've ordered some H1 Silver Star bulbs for dip but can only find 9005's in the States, not available in the UK. I'll see how they are on dip before deciding if to order some from the States for main beam or not.
I won't bother with the fogs, they can stay as they are.
Thanks,
Andy.

If you have ordered from Powerbulbs you'll get a couple of Blue Vision sidelights foc. You have to remove the headlamp assembly to install these. The instructions for this is in the handbook (the latest h'book with the 03 car on the front) They forget to mention the extra bolt holding the assembly (white plastic bracket) and that you have to give a hefty pull to release the two locating ball clips (grease them on re-assembly) Don't bother to disconnect all the connectors, just change the bulbs and re-assemble. The result is worth the effort and it does'nt take too long.
